Driver Training
We offer the in-class portion of High School Driver Ed program online and exams in person at the school.
Instructor Role: To provide students with the direction and support for them to be successful in acquiring a Class 5 / 7 license, and to deliver the High School Driver Ed curriculum/program requirements by means of in-class sessions and in-car lessons.
Student Role: To bring a positive and constructive attitude, and to be a considerate classmate (especially during online classes), as well as complete the requirements of the program.
Parent/Guardian Role: To understand what the course requirements/expectations are, and to supervise and ensure your child is participating in the in-class sessions, as well as ensure course requirements (and class time at home) are followed.
When student are enrolled at Greenall High School, they will be enrolled in a class based on their birthdate. If students have turned 15 more than two months prior and have not taken driver training, they should contact Mrs. Haus at the office. Classes are created based on need and students are enrolled based on their date of birth. It is expected that students will be enrolled in a class within 3 months after their 15th birthdate. Once a class is created, the students and parents will receive an email with confirmation of availability and class required forms. All students must fill out the Class Expectation Agreement that is class specific and SGI Guarantor form, including the student SGI Customer Number. and return to the office by the class deadline. All students must have a MySGI account set up prior to the start of class in order to complete proper testing and classroom work.
